Travis Pacoe has been continuously involved in real estate since 1990 and has both brokered and invested in nearly every property type, including apartment projects, retail and industrial real estate. Travis is responsible for origination of potential transactions; negotiation of transaction terms; marketing oversight; and due diligence oversight.
Travis’ completed transactions total in excess of $500 million, including properties valued in excess of $100 million that he acquired as an investor and general partner through various partnerships he has formed. He has been an active principal in the acquisition of multifamily and commercial real estate for 18 years and as an owner has extensive experience in the management of multifamily and commercial properties.
Travis brings his extensive history as a principal investor to bear in completing every property purchase, including extensive transaction management experience, negotiation of relevant documentation and effective navigation through all due diligence matters; accurate valuation of many property types in numerous regions or submarkets; and origination and structuring of a wide variety of financing instruments.
Travis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a dual emphasis in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and Finance from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, CA, class of 1991.
Ron Abta has over 10 years of residential real estate experience, having completed in excess of $250MM in transactions as both a broker and investor. He brings multifamily management and remodeling experience to the team, having actively overseen the maintenance, renovation, and financing of multi-unit apartment units and residential properties throughout his career. Ron is responsible for marketing oversight and general transaction management for acquisitions and financing.
He has been involved in the structuring and management of numerous real estate general partnerships. He has also been involved in almost every type of residential purchase over his career, whether it be multifamily assets, tenancy-in-common interests, or single family dwellings. He brings a wide breadth of experience to the team as both an investor, as well as operator of multifamily properties. He has consistently managed to completion a very high number of transactions annually for many years.
He has intimate knowledge of the financing side of real estate transactions, having worked at iOwn.com, one of the first internet mortgage brokers (acquired by CitiMortgage). He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business Administration at University of California Berkeley in Berkeley, CA, class of 1993, as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Stanford, CA, class of 1999.
Elizabeth Meier has been an active principal investor and manager of investment and development properties throughout the western United States since 1994 with a combined total value in excess of $235MM, including multifamily, condominium development projects, office and retail centers. Liz is responsible for oversight of all legal matters, including formation of appropriate ownership entities; property due diligence and capital improvement oversight; development of property-specific capital improvement, community building and environmental conservation programs; and structuring of financial instruments.
As a general partner and manager, Liz has directed and facilitated lease-up and stabilization of apartment communities and office/ retail centers, and well as overseen construction projects from inception to completion. She has experience and expertise in directing on-site staff, evaluating market conditions, management of limited partners, entitlement issues and construction management. She is highly experienced working with lenders and managing complex lending environments, whether for acquisition or construction.
Elizabeth has deep experience in the coordination and motivation of teams to achieve a high quality real estate project while managing budgets to maximize return to the investors and principals. Her history includes property management of residential rental property as well as construction administration and management, including coordination of large-scale developments from the entitlement phase to successful sell-out.
In San Francisco she was a founding member of the South End Historic District Association in 2001. An active community participant, she has found that building and eliciting community support adds tremendous value to real estate properties and facilitates complex entitlement issues. She also works closely with the Neighborhood Parks Council to improve the state of Parks in the City and County of San Francisco. Elizabeth is on the Advisory Board for The Crucible, A non-profit educational facility that fosters a collaboration of Arts, Industry and Community through training in the fine arts and industrial arts.
Elizabeth is a former critical care and trauma nurse, spending her early career at academic and acute care facilities such as Stanford, Parkland, and UCSF. Her experience and educational background, in this field, which remains societies most valued and trusted profession, adds a unique dimension and capacity in her work as a real estate principal and manager of investments.
